Hummus

Dip made with chick peas and tahini (sesame paste)

Ishli Kofte (Kibbi)

Beef and bulgur wrapper stuffed with cooked ground beef. 

Allergens: wheat

Prep: add to boiling water, remove when browned, approx. 10 mins, or until a toothpick goes through it easily. 

Serve with lemon or yogurt.

Jajik

Chilled yogurt drink with cucumbers and mint

Khadayif

Shredded phyllo dough layered with nuts or cream.

Allergens: may contain nuts

Khinkali

Georgian meat filled dumplings.

Allergens: none

Prep: Keep frozen - add a few at a time to a pot of boiling water. Once they begin to float, allow to simmer for 2-4 minutes, then remove & enjoy.

Lahmajoun

Armenian meat "pizza"

Allergens: none

Prep: Keep frozen - preheat oven at 400F, warm for 5-10 mins depending on how crispy you prefer it to be

Lazy Choreg

Savory crackers topped with black & white sesame seeds. (NOTHING at all like choreg!)

Lebne

Strained yogurt, similar to Greek yogurt

Manti

Mini beef dumplings

Allergens: none

Prep: As an app-preheat oven at 375F and bake for 15 mins. As a soup-bring chicken broth to a boil and add manti. Cook until  the dough softens.

Serve with yogurt and/or tomato sauce dip as an app or in a chicken broth as a soup

Muhammara

Mildly spicy dip made with red peppers, walnuts & pomegranate molasses

Simit

Mildly sweet Armenian sesame cookies

Allergens: eggs, milk


Sini Kofte

Similar to Ishli Kofte but layered in a pan & baked

Allergens: wheat

Prep: preheat oven at 400F and bake for 35 mins. 

Serve with lemon or yogurt.

Souboureg

Similar to cheese bouregs but made with a homemade dough. 

Allergens: wheat

Prep: Replace cover with aluminum foil. Preheat oven to 350F and bake for 30 mins covered, and additional 30 minutes uncovered. 

Soujouk

 An Armenian spicy, dry-cured sausage similar to salami

A Mediterranean salad with  finely chopped vegetables, lots of fresh parsley and bulgur wheat with a lemon dressing
